  • How will my halo stay on without clips?
It seems too good to be true, we know! But your halo will fit securely & comfortably with an invisible band. When you put your halo in, your natural hair will lay over the invisible band - keeping it place (even on fine hair!).
  • Will halo extensions damage my hair?
Nope! With a halo, there's no clips & no glue. The invisible band allows you to wear your halo extensions securely, and without the damage caused by other methods.
  • Can I wear a halo even if I have fine or thin hair?
Yes, definitely! A halo is a great way to add volume, thickness & length to fine and thinning hair. Experiencing hair loss? Check out our collection of custom toppers for a comfortable wig-alternative here. Toppers are an incredible option for those dealing with thinning hair & hair loss.
  • Is a halo hard to put on?
All of our extensions are SUPER easy to put in. And we have plenty of video tutorials for any support you may need! Check them out here.
  • Can I wear my hair straight with a halo?
Yes! If you've chosen a halo that is within a couple of inches of your own hair, you can wear it straight. If you purchased a halo to add 3-4+ inches of length, we recommend adding a loose curl for the best blend. You can also get more blendability by placing the nape of your hair into a small ponytail.
  • Can I sleep in my hair piece?
We do not recommended sleeping in your pieces, especially because they're so easy to put on and take off! Store your halo by using the included hanger attachment clips, and store your topper on a headform.
  • Can I wear my hair in a ponytail or bun with a halo?
Yes, your halo will look great in half-up/half-down styles & a low pony or bun! If you're pulling your halo back into a ponytail, it needs to sit just below the seam in order to stay secure. Looking for the option for a high bun or pony? Add on a custom ponytail to your order!
  • How do the ponytail extensions work?
A custom pony from Loom will give you the fluffy, full pony & bun you've always wanted! It can even be worn high up, on top of the head. You'll place your own natural hair into a ponytail. Your Loom pony has a small clip that you slide into your natural hair. Then, simply wrap the new pony around your hair, securing it with the velcro edge. Wrap the 'tail' of your Loom pony around the base to hide the edges, and go!
  • Can I wash, curl & style my halo or topper?
Yes, all of our pieces are made of 100% human remy hair. Just be sure to use low heat and a heat protectant. Your extensions will hold a curl for several wears, so you should only need to use heat sparingly. Do not use a flat iron. When air dried, your halo and topper will have a natural wave. If you'd like to wear your piece wavy or curly, you will need to add/refine curls with a curling iron so the textures match and blend.
  • How do I wash my hair pieces?
We recommend washing your extensions every 15-20 wears, using only the recommended extension-safe products. For a step by step tutorial, check out our video here. Need more GoldieLocks? Shop online here!
  • What products should I use?
Great question! Not all products are safe for your pieces. We highly recommend the GoldieLocks line, which is safe for both your natural hair and your halo & toppers. Shop online here and receive 10% off your first order!
  • How should I store my halo & topper when I'm not wearing them?
Halo: Place on a hanger using the clips that we include with your order. Do not hang your extensions by the invisible band - always clip into the seam of your extensions. Topper: Store your topper on a headform (this can easily be found on online). This keeps the cap in its round shape, and your piece will look most natural once you're ready to wear. A headform will also make blowdrying and styling a breeze!
  • Can I wear my hair piece while swimming?
No, we do not recommend wearing your pieces while swimming. Be sure to avoid salt water, chlorine and sunscreen - they may cause discoloration or damage.
  • Anything else I should know?
We're glad you asked! We do have a few more tips so you can get the most out of your pieces.
  • Can I color my halo or topper?
Yes, your local stylist can touch up and color your pieces as needed! Here are a few tips: - Use a gentle formula such as a demi color - Be mindful not to cut into the perimeter of the piece unless removing length - Texture is always better - If cutting on the head, secure all bio hair to ensure only the hair piece is being cut - Do not use bleach - Grey, cool blonde and bright/white hair pieces may require more frequent refreshing of color to maintain their tones.
